Baccarat: Professional Series - Game Overview

The aim of this game is to correctly guess the outcome of a game played between the player and the banker.

The hand closest to nine will win.

    How the Game Works

Eight standard 52-card decks are used during this game.

You place bets on whether you think the player or the banker will win.

You can also bet on the tie.

The player and the banker are each dealt two cards.

Whoever has the hand closest to nine will win.

If both hands are equal in value, a tie is declared.

In the event of Third Card Rules applying, a third card can be dealt to a hand.

    Third Card Rules

If either the player or the banker has a hand that equals eight or nine, it is marked as natural, with both hands standing.

For a third hand to be dealt, the following circumstances must occur:

    - Player has a hand of 0-5 - they receive a third card

    - Banker has a hand of 0-5 - banker receives a third card if the player stands

    - Banker has a hand of 0-2 - banker receives a third card

    - Banker has a hand of three - banker receives a third card if the player's third card is not eight

    - Banker has a hand of four - banker receives a third card if the player's third card is 2-7

    - Banker has a hand of five - banker receives a third card if the player's third card is 4-7

    - Banker has a hand of six - banker receives a third card if the player has six or seven

    - Banker has a hand of seven - banker always stands

Player Wins Return to Player (RTP): 98.94%

Banker Wins Return to Player (RTP) : 98.76%

Tie Wins Return to Player (RTP): 85.64%

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take $100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out $98.94 of wins.

This return is based on the player making the best choices.
